Gateshead Community Network (GCN):

• Enables and supports local people to influence decison makers in Gateshead.
• Provides opportunities to network and share experiences with other local people for the good of the community.
• Is a direct route for the community and voluntary sector to influence the development and provision of services in Gateshead.
• Is a forum for debate, for the community and voluntary sector to express its views.
• Takes up the challenge of fully participating in decision making structures
• Works jointly with partners (Police, Health, Education, Council etc) to develop and implement community strategies.
